Pageheader Macros

Experiments with the #pageheader directive

What is #pageheader?

It's often called the #pageheader directive, because it has that pound (#) sign in front. But really, it's a special type of template: a template for the very top of your HTML page--DTD, head and title, and the opening <body> tag.

Don't confuse it with the pageheader () macro--they do the same job, but in totally different ways. #pageheader gives you more flexibility--actually, total, precise, control.

It's new

The #pageheader is new in Frontier 5.

For more information about it, read about it on scripting.com:

Here's an email I wrote explaining why I thought pageheader is important. This idea originated from Jim Roepke , author of dynAuthor for Frontier.
