Converting French Dates

Go back and forth from US-style to French dates

Phillipe Martin has useful script for converting dates. In his own words:

- dateConvert -

It lets you convert US formatted dates and times (e.g., Thursday, August 21, 1997 or 2:35:50 PM) to French format (e.g., jeudi 21 août 1997 or 14:35:50) and reverse. It accepts any date and time format (date.shortString(), date.abbrevString(), date.longString(), clock.now(), and even time only) as input, and returns its result in the same format. I use it to put US formated dates and times in my web pages in english, since my system clock is set to French format.

It's available from:

Thanks Phillipe!
