I've spoken with the heads here at Organic, and they seem okay with the idea of hosting the group here. Either I or John Belew (also an Organic employee) would have to be with the group all the time, but other than that, we're available. We've got a big meeting room upstairs on the 5th floor, and some Internet connections downstairs on the 4th. (Unfortunately, I can't offer you the big presentation room with the 30" monitor and the fast Internet connection. Sigh.)

We're right in the heart of SOMA, close to the freeway, from both South Bay and Oakland. We've got parking at night. Local food options are fairly limited, but there's always delivery...

I can offer my home as a meeting place for up to about 10 people. I know this probably won't be adequate for the first meeting, but it might be useful in the future. I have a full time ISDN Internet connection. My house is located at 2206 Bryant (@ 20th Street) which is pretty convenient for anyone driving in from out of town.

Saturday would be best for me, though I could probably deal with Wednesday. Of the three dates listed, I will only be in town 7/11-7/12. Judging from the scatter, I would say that the North Peninsula (Belmont, San Carlos, etc) would be the best bet. While I know some resturants up there, I don't know a meeting place. I will offer my backyard as a meeting place, though the Internet connection is a little slow, and the lawn hasn't been planted yet.
