August 1998 Planning
We're planning for the August meeting. Give us your input.
Meeting Location: City or Peninsula?
The July meeting's location in San Francisco will probably be available to us again--something which I will confirm with the Organic folks.
However, we did discuss rotating the meeting places between the city and the peninsula to make it more convenient for folks from points south.
If you'd like to have a meeting in your area, the best thing for you to do is help us find a place to have it.
Idea meeting places have easy access, a video projector or large monitor, an Internet connection, plenty of room & parking, good places to eat nearby...
Basically, once we have a meeting place, we plan the date around the meeting place's schedule.
Meeting Day: Wednesday or Saturday?
In last month's survey, the preferred meeting days were Saturday or Wednesday. Last month's Wednesday meeting was (beyond my expectations) well attended. Again, depending on location, we'll try to work it so as many peopl can attend as possible.
We're shooting to have a meeting towards the end of August. Hopefully we can set a date and place in a week or so.
